We are refining our services through pilot research projects. The amounts below are proposed starting points for research and planning—not confirmed travel package prices or a promise that escorted departures are available now.
The Soldier’s Story
Research & printed dossier
Proposed starting price: $650
A focused historical investigation and a printed keepsake dossier. Designed for families who want to understand and preserve a relative’s Italian Campaign story, whether or not they plan to travel.
May include: initial consultation, research within an agreed scope, documented narrative and timeline, selected archival reproductions, maps, source citations, one printed dossier, and a digital copy.
Research scope, printing specifications, additional copies, and any third-party archival fees will be agreed in advance.
In Their Footsteps
Research, dossier & private journey design
Proposed starting price: $1,750 for research and itinerary design
For families who want to use the historical findings to plan an independent journey through Italy. Includes the research dossier and a tailored itinerary developed with your family.
May include: research and printed dossier, planning consultations, a custom route, destination context, suggested activities and accommodations, and a digital or printed journey guide.
This is a professional research and planning fee. Airfare, hotels, transportation, admission fees, meals, and other travel expenses are not included. Travel reservations are not made as part of this proposed package.
The Family Legacy Journey

Pricing: Custom quotation when bookings open
Our future signature offering: a private Italian journey for your family, personally accompanied by us and shaped by your relative’s documented wartime experience.
The final quotation will depend on family size, itinerary, trip length, travel season, accommodation preferences, local services, and operating arrangements. Research and dossier preparation will be scoped and priced clearly.
Escorted trips are not currently being sold or booked. We are developing the experience and evaluating appropriate licensed travel partners, insurance, and applicable travel requirements.
How payment would work
Our intended structure separates the archival research and printed dossier from itinerary design and any eventual escorted travel. Families can receive and keep their research even if they choose to postpone or forgo a trip.
Before accepting paid work, we will provide a written scope, estimated timeline, deliverables, payment schedule, and any applicable third-party costs.
